about
We use a range of hands-on techniques to provide you with the best outcome.

Dry needling involves inserting fine needles into trigger points in the muscles of the lower leg. These needles are thin and solid, and the procedure does not involve any substance being injected. Targeting trigger points helps the muscle relax and increases blood flow to the area. This technique can be used to treat muscle tightness, reduced mobility, and pain.

Massage can be used as a part of both short and long-term treatment. Massage is a hands-on technique to help release tense and tight muscles. The tightness in muscles can be the cause of injury, foot pain, weakness, and changes in the way you walk.

Exercise Therapy: This is an effective way to improve motion in the foot, reduce injury healing time and prevent future injury. These exercises can be strengthening, stretching, balancing or mobilisation based. We will complete an assessment so that exercises recommended by The Foot Folk podiatrists will be designed to target your specific needs. We will also make sure that you are taught how to properly complete each exercise to avoid any further injury. Exercise therapy can be used in conjunction with many additional supporting options including taping, braces, and bandaging.
